Vehicles In November, A 35 Percent Increase

SHANGHAI, China – After
opening 40 new dealerships last week as part of its ongoing
expansion in China, Ford Motor China today announced it sold
56,829 vehicles in November, a 35 percent increase from November
2009. For the first 11 months of the year, Ford sold 525,100
units in China, an increase of 39 percent compared to the same
period a year ago.
Changan Ford Mazda Automobile (CFMA)
CFMA, Ford's passenger vehicle joint-venture in China posted
sales of 39,819 units in November, an increase of 28 percent
from November 2009. So far this year, CFMA has sold 361,012
vehicles, an increase of 31 percent from January - November last
year.
Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC)
JMC, Ford's commercial vehicle investment in China sold 17,010
units in November, boosting its January to November sales by 59
percent compared to the same period in 2009.

Popular models

competitive mid-sized car segment with 17,139 units sold in
November, an increase of 34 percent from a year ago.
•Sales of the Ford Fiesta are up
60 percent from the same 11-month period in 2009.
•Ford Transit achieved its record
monthly sales of 5,285 units in November, jumping 58 percent
from November 2009
