Corporation Appoints Tony Cervone To Senior Chrysler Group
Communications Post
Auburn
Hills, Mich. - DaimlerChrysler Corporation (DCC) announced that Antonio
B. (Tony) Cervone is appointed Vice President - Communications for the
Chrysler Group, effective immediately.
Cervone
rejoins DaimlerChrysler after an 18-month stint with General Motors'
Communications organization, most recently as Executive Director of
Corporate Communications. In his new capacity, Cervone will report to
Holden. His responsibilities will include Chrysler Group Corporate and
Product Public Relations, Technical, Public Affairs, Quality and
Engineering Public Relations and Internal Communications. Cervone will
work in close concert with Christoph Walther, Senior Vice President and
Head of DaimlerChrysler Global Communications.
Prior
to joining General Motors in 1999, Cervone served as Director - Internal
Communications for DaimlerChrysler Corporation and was a member of the
Post-Merger Integration Team for the Communications organization. He
originally joined DaimlerChrysler Corporation in 1985 and subsequently
held posts in Public Relations supporting the Product Engineering,
Technology, Manufacturing, Design, Motorsports, International and
Procurement & Supply organizations. With this realignment, Cervone
succeeds Steve Rossi, Vice President - Global Communications
Chrysler/Jeep®/Dodge, who leaves the company to pursue his global

Karenann
Terrell Joins DaimlerChrysler Corporation as Director - Business Connect

Hills, Mich. - DaimlerChrysler Corporation announced today that Karenann
Terrell has been appointed Director - Business Connect, reporting to
Gary E. Dilts, Senior Vice President - eConnect Platform. Terrell joins
DaimlerChrysler from General Motors, where she most recently served as
Director - e-Vehicle.
In
this position, Terrell will direct and coordinate the e-business
activities being initiated on both the product and consumer side of the
company. She will manage a cross-functional team from Finance, Legal,
Mergers & Acquisitions, Procurement & Supply, Information
Technology Management and Engineering.
Terrell's
previous assignments with General Motors included responsibility for
e-Vehicles, Future Luxury Products, TotalVehicle Integration Engineering
(Mid/Luxury Car Division), management
of Technical Support and Advanced Project Engineering assignments
pertaining to Customer Engineering and Hybrid Electric Vehicles. Terrell
holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of
Michigan. She earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from
Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from

Corporation appoints designer David C. McKinnon Vice President -- Large
Car, Small Car & Minivan Design

Hills, Mich. - DaimlerChrysler Corporation announced the appointment of
David C. McKinnon to Vice President -- Large Car, Small Car &
Minivan Design, reporting to Trevor M. Creed, Senior Vice President -
Design.
In
this position, McKinnon is responsible for managing and directing
interior and exterior design for all Chrysler and Dodge brand large car,
small car and minivan product design concepts. McKinnon joined
DaimlerChrysler Corporation in 1968 and has since developed broad-based
experience in Product Design. He was responsible for the design
activities surrounding the current and former generation of the
company's highly successful line of minivans. In addition, he led the
design efforts associated with the original Dodge Intrepid, which
heralded the arrival of the new era of Chrysler design. His previous
assignments included responsibility for both the International and Truck
Studios. He most recently served as Director -- Exterior & Interior
Design for Passenger Car and Minivan Design. (August 31, 2000)

Grube Once Again Takes Charge of DaimlerChrysler Corporate Strategy
Stuttgart/Auburn
Hills - Effective September 15, 2000, Ruediger Grube will again assume
responsibility for DaimlerChrysler Corporate Strategy. The Board of
Management made this decision at its meeting in New York. Aloysius Rauen
will take over a new management task as Senior Executive Manager at
EADS. Rauen succeeded Grube when he moved to the Stuttgart-based Häussler
Group to become Chairman last fall.
