Auburn Hills - At the Geneva Motor Show, Chrysler Group will again demonstrate its ability to create exciting new products with the worldwide debut of the Chrysler Airflite concept vehicle and the European premieres of the 2.4 turbo engine powered Chrysler PT Cruiser GT, the PT Cruiser Chrome Package, and the new look for Sebring Cabrio and Sedan.

In addition to these vehicles, Chrysler Voyager and Grand Voyager will now offer a new factory-installed navigation system for Europe, as well as a special value package that will bring more premium features to the base SE model.

The Chrysler brand has built a reputation for bringing segment-defining vehicles to the showroom floor with examples such as the original "minivan" and the ground-breaking PT Cruiser. The brand is also well known for turning concept vehicles into production in record time, such as the all-new Chrysler Crossfire sports coupé that will expand the brand's diverse and distinctive portfolio.

"Without a doubt, the Chrysler brand is creating a portfolio of products that gracefully combine expressive design and thoughtful features," said Thomas Hausch, Executive Director of International Sales and Marketing for Chrysler Group. "This family of 'American dream machines' will hold even more appeal to customers when the new Chrysler Crossfire arrives to Europe."

The Chrysler Crossfire will hit European roads in the second half of 2003. The restyled Sebring Cabrio and Sedan are due in Europe in late spring of 2003, while the Chrysler PT Cruiser GT with turbo engine will arrive in the fall. The PT Cruiser Chrome Package and Voyager value package are available now to customers.

The Chrysler brand continues to increase its presence in Western Europe. Last year, Chrysler Minivans were the top selling Chrysler Group vehicles in the region with 33,203 units sold. Despite a falling market, total sales of all Chrysler Group vehicles in Western Europe in 2002 grew to 112,749, representing a two per cent increase over the previous year.

The importance of diesel engines, particularly in Europe, to Chrysler Group's international sales continued to grow last year with the diesel share increasing from 22 per cent in 2001 to 41 per cent of Chrysler Group total sales in 2002.
